This movie was about 3 hours and I saw this in one of the classes at school. Spartacus became a gladiator and almost got killed in the battles. This movie is pretty interesting, but sometimes a little scary, especially with the battles. Gladiator battles are quiet scary because someone has to die to determine the winner. Spartacus was a slave all his life. Then he was made to become a gladiator at and sent to the training school. The leader is mean, and he forced people to train hard. I find it funny when Spartacus or someone drowned him in a big pot of soup. Then all the people who were trained to be gladiators escaped and set fire on the school. Later on in the movie, he falls in love with Varinia. At the end of the movie, he was crucified, and eventually died. Despite that, I did not find the ending sad. |
