In the near future the world is overpopulated and over polluted. As a result oil shortages are not the problem but food shortages as well as rampant poverty. The world has been reduced to two classes of society. The few priveledged and the masses. Add to this a murder mystery and a sterling perfomance by Edward G.Robinson with a lot of other actors of the era you will recognize. This is a great film not to be missed. |
