Wow who could imagine a movie coming so close to reality and almost in the correct time frame.
In about another decade much of what this movie portrays will come to pass.
Overpopulation, food and water shortages; riots and famine.
Granted the acting, special effects and props are somewhat dated; but this is an epic tale of betrayal of the species by the government.
Charlton Heston in his Cheesy best, Edward G in one final role of import.
"You have to tell them, Soylent Green is......."
