The movie is full of clever, intelligent lines like "body of a monster and head of a social worker" to cobweb-laden Volkswagens in caves that start on the first shot.
The plot is fast paced and the lines are delivered with astute comic timing by Allen. The direction and visuals just added to the overall high level of entertainment.
Clearly, Sleeper raised the bar on comedy back in its day, and would be worth seeing even today! |
