All great movies have to have a great story. And this film had a brilliant story! I really loved this musical. The music is really outstanding!
The only part I didn't like was the sequence "Gotta Dance." I found it boring & pointless in the movie.
But other than that, it was really good! I loved the humor; especially with Lina Lemont. She was really funny!
My two favorite parts in this film: when they first film "The Dancing Cavalier" & the sound went wrong and Lina was saying "Yes, yes, yes!" in a man voice instead of "No, no, no!" in her voice & the part when Don does "Singin' in the Rain."
This film is magical for all ages...I recommend it as a film to rent for the family to watch! |
