Though The Pink Panther preceded this one, A Shot in the Dark could be considered as the first of known Inspector Clouseau series where Inspector Dreyfuss also showed up. This is, I believe, second best of the series after Pink Panther (1964) and you should not miss it!! Not to forget, Elke Sommer is charming here.
