I felt I was out of the loop because I had not seen this movie, but after watching it I can tell how a lot of movies must have been influenced by this.
Even though it's from 1980, it still carries a very frightening atmosphere with the whole "cabin fever" theory.
Nicholson is great and he goes pretty mental! He was just perfect for the part. Can't say I'm a fan of Shelley Duvall, but hey. The setting was great and I loved that scene where the massive blood river flows through the halls.
Yep, this movie will go down in history. |
