Kubrick is a genius

This is one of the best movies ever made.
It is disturbing, of course.
Jack Nicholson's performance is 'scrumtrellescent'. I had to make up that word, because no other words can describe his outstanding performance.
Kubrick's direction and cinematography put 90% of today's movies to shame. In fact, when I look at most of today's movies (in terms of direction/cinematographic originality) I am almost imbarassed.
Today's directors get their collective asses kicked by Kubrick's genius.
I can't go on, I'm just too emotional right now. It just really pains me to witness the slow death of movie making, at the hands of accountants, CGI, greed, and just plain dumb/unoriginal people. |
