This Film is a good furry film. I liked the sub-plot of the mysterious ring in this one. I also liked the Espionge hint with the French girl. The effects however don't live up to todays standards. The slower transformation was great. It gave you the feel of transforming anlog with him. The sixties bever cleaver style look does need updating. Overall I give this movie a B. I'll probablly rate The remake, with Tim Allen lower. First the previews have to much cat chasing and the thing with the bite I don't buy. The father changing to be more of a father sideline is getting old and used to death. The remake I sense plays to heavily on this. Usually with remakes they ruin a perfectly good film. |
