Watching the film one can see it's basis is planted within mystical elements Judaic and Christian religions that aren't accepted within orthodoxy. Also, Revelation has to be seen with the rest Scriptures. Actually, nothing in Revelation is new and merely states what the rest of the Old and New Testaments have stated. Something the film doesn't even mention.

But then, many hollywood films have done so within the past. Thus, it's to be expected. Like the aforementioned other films, both old and new, they should be taken as they were meant...fiction. Yet, there should be discernment on what they are and are not based.

As for the nude scene and the language, there was no need for them at all. Without them the movie would more than likely gained a PG or PG-13 rating regarding it's content and subject matter. (But then the rating scale seems to mean little these days.)
