I have this to say, this movie single handedly has the best script and story ever in a movie. It has great mixture of drama, honor, love, action, and it last you a long time in this wonderful epic. Some of the acting seems a bit sketchy to me, but it's still A- acting. The direting is also great, I cant even begin to imagine the difficulty of filming the rainy battle scenes at that time. I was raised on special fx, so the first time I saw a guy get his arm cut off in an older movie(Yojimbo) I laughed, but then had to laugh at his "Two coffins, no maybe three." The humor is great also, which is rare for older films because they tend to only be funny to the people of the time period. Overall, I would suggest this movie to anyone who can read. |
