A SENCE OF FREEDOM, Jimmy's story
by hoo (movies profile)
Nov 26, 2003
The story of real-life "Scotland's most violent man", who spent a decade in and out of British prisons.
The life of the violent villan is captivating, following his troubled & turbulent years in and out of Jail.
After being sentenced to life in prison, the infamous racketeer takes out his anger and hostility on the guards and warden.
The Scottish racketeer goes from Jail to Jail until the authorities try a trusting and rewarding style of reform. He is transfered to a special unit in Barlinnie Prison, where he is given a chance at a new life.
At the Special Unit at Barlinnie Prison, he discovered both sculpture and the futility of life behind bars.
The milk bottle scene is so true and chilling, a well thought out and effective scene, and to smile at your attackers after such a beating, drinking "Heavy" and still bleeding, powerfull
