This has to be the all time worst film I have ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I like spoofs and satires, but this is just plain garbage. The plot is terrible, the acting is atrocious, and the special effects are awful. I can't foresee any reason why this movie was ever made.
The basic premise of the film really makes absolutely no sense. Apparently there are these mysterious cracks located deep in the earths crust that are supposed to be some type of gateway for famous monsters like the mummy and Dracula. And wouldn't you know it, the main character and his derranged family live right on top of these very cracks. After some of the worst singing I've ever heard, (Yes, there's actually singing in this movie) terrible special effects, and bad acting, the movie is finally over.
If anyone sees this film in a video store, or even at a Best Buy or Walmart, remove your lighter from your pocket and set every copy of Saturday the 14th Strikes Back to burn. You will be doing yourself, and any moviegoer for that matter an enormous favor. THUMBS WAY DOWN!!! |
