In the year 2019, A military officer named Ben Richards is accused and convicted of killing a group of people. He and a few of his prison fellows make a sudden break-out, but Richards is found. When "The Running Man" game show host Damon Killian offers Richards to play on his new game, Richards accepts. Little did Richards know, it is a game of life and death. The challenger is sent into the deserted parts of Los Angeles to survive killers known as stalkers. It's a race against time as Ben Richards tries to win his freedom. And his life.

Not exactly my favorite Schwarzenegger film, but it was good. Ah-nold has some great one-liners in this movie.

This time Arnold doesn't take all the credit, I must give some to Richard Dawson. He portrays Killian very well. The storyline is pretty original compared to other action movies nowadays.

I recommend The Running Man if you really like Schwarzenegger or Science Fiction/Action movies. I found this movie a bit disappointing, but then the movie got better. So if I were you, I would "run" to the video store, right away!

Directed by Paul Michael Glaser

Released by 20th Century Fox

Genre: Sci-Fi; Action; Thriller
