"I never asked you to stop being a woman..don't ask me to stop being a man." This is an example of the emotinally driven dialogue in this film. There are way too many great scenes to mention, but everything about this movie shines. Carl Weathers was so great showing how impossible it was for Apollo to get past Rocky making it the distance.
Sly shines again as Rocky. Showing the embarassment and anger at being harrassed by execs because he couldn't read properly. Burt Young did wonderful portraying Pauly. So selfish yet deep down caring and loving. Talia Shire did an excellent job showing the first transitions in Adrien. Growing from a mouse and a shell to someone who was more confident in who she was. BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!! |
