Funny Sellers Classic

Middle of the 5 Sellers' Pink Panther Movies, it has the great Peter Sellers bumbling Inspector Clouseau. Clouseau is again needed to recover the biggest diamond in the world, known as the Pink Panther.
At its center is the irrepressible Sellers doing classic physical British humor. Clouseau's boss, Inspector Dreyfus, is again very well played by Herbert Lom. The phantom is not played by David Niven, but Christopher Plummer does a very good job.
Definitely recommended, especially since there are so few actors who can do this homor (maybe Mr Bean, Rowan Atkinson, is the perhaps the closest modern equivalent). Like all the Pink Panther movies it is very funny in parts and is otherwise a generally fun movie. |
