There is no denying it: Rebel Without A Cause (1955) is, at least in my book, one of the best movies of the 20th centruy. The story of a teen, Jim Stark (played by the legendary James Dean) adjusting to his new town is a landmark for teen flicks and films of teen angst. The storyline may not be oscar worthy, but the acting and the visuals of the film make this movie a true classic. |
