To call Hitchcock the greatest director ever would be an understatement. Rear Window is one of the most intellectual movies made by Hitchcock. The situation is not ideal for filmmaking. Mind you, cinematography isn't about capturing a city or locale as many poeple point out. Rear window is an example of one the best cameraworks. I won't spoil the story. It's a must see. |
