this movie was very suspenceful and kept me guessing the whole time. hitchcock is possibly the greatest suspense director ever and this is definitly his greatest work. the basic plot is a reporter who breaks his leg and watches his neighbor out of bordom but he sees a man with many suspicious items such as a saw and the victims purse. he must show everyone hes not crazy while not getting killed himself. sounds interesting right? yeah the story is very good. the acting is excellent especially jimmy stewert. alfred hitchcock is brilliant in his role as director. and the visuals are amazing especially the scene where jimmy stewert is dangling over the balcony was very well done. overall this is one of my fav movies of all time. and is a timeles classic for both young and old. |
