I just typed in the name of this movie in the movie search just because I remember this flick from when I was still in my superman underwear. I remember that my father hid this movie away from me and it wasnt for the gore, but probably the classic and breakthrough scene of a decapitated, re-animated head about to give cunnilingus to a restrained naked girl. I thought the scariest thing in this movie was the creepy doctors infactuation with his boss's much younger daughter and how it got creepier after his demise. The acting was terrific and even though you can catch some flubs (Dr. West putting the drill through the re-animated corpse, you can see the torso was fake for a split second at the bottom) it still didnt take away from the vomit worthy special effects. This is one of the rare must see horror movies for the true horror fan. |
