Sylvester Stallone returns in the third installment of the Rambo Trilogy and this sequel is packed with as much action and excitement as the second movie. This time around, Rambo is found resting at a monastery in Thailand when he is approached by former superior Colonel Samuel Trautman (Richard Crenna). Trautman informs Rambo that he needs his help with a mission in Afghanistan to save rebels that are fighting off the Soviet Union. Rambo declines, saying that he is tired of being a man-of-war. Trautman's mission goes wrong and he is then kidnapped and tortured by Russian Colonel Zaysen (Marc de Jonge). After hearing the news, Rambo then teams up with the Mujahedeen rebels himself and makes it his own mission to save Trautman from Zaysen. |
