I love this movie. I have it on DVD. At first, I was like the little boy at the beginning of the film. I really did not want to see it I was reluctant to watch it although I was constantly nagged by my mother. " Watch it !" she always said. " I know that you'll love it." I hate it when I'm wrong. But it was true, my mother was right I fell in love with this movie. I watch it everytime it's on TV and I have the DVD. I even have to say that after seeing this movie I developed an ENORMOUS crush on Cary Elwes which still holds true to this day.
For those of you who live in another dimension and have not seen this movie, I'll try not to write out the entire film. Westley and Buttercup are two characters in love in a book that a sick child is being read to by his grandfather. Westley and Buttercup fall in love and Westley has no money for marriage. He then leaves the farm that they are on to find fortunes across the sea , but on the way he is abducted by the Dread Pirate Roberts, and he never leaves captives alive. 5 years later Buttercup becomes engaged to an annoying and stuck up prince named Humperdink. Although she did not love him. She is then kidnapped by 3 people. While they are sailing to the cliffs of insanity, one of them , Inigo realizes that someone is fallowing them. You would not believe who it is! This is one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time. Everyone should see this movie. |
