I consider myself the luckiest man on the face of the earth, just because I got to see this movie. I, like many others, hope that 10,000 years from now the Red Sox will have won a hundred World Series and the Yankees will still have only won 26. Even so, this is a sports classic. The ending is the saddest ending ever, and it is exciting along the way. Of course the acting is great, Babe Ruth is in it! Great one to see at any time. The only problem is that it should have had a little less of Lou Gehrig's personal life and a bit more baseball. But even so, I really like it. Classic on any level. |
