Being a big Leslie Neilsen fan, the only thing I heard about this movie was that he was in it (as the ship's Captain - unfortunatley, not for very long). I am very glad I decided to rent it.. I found it to be one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The plot was genius - I mean, what WOULD happen if a boat turned upside down like that. I thought the action sequences were good for being made in 1972 and the acting (for the most part) was excellent. Gene Hackman was great, though sometimes he yelled a bit too much for a Reverend.. I thought the movie was a suspenseful, well made, gripping movie that I was sad to see come to an end. I would recommend this movie to everyone.. |
