This early 70's classic involves a tidal wave capsizing a luxury liner, on New Year's Eve. There are only ten survivors, desperately trying to escape from an upside-down ship, while it is sinking. The story is superb, the casting is lovely, and even though there are a couple of unhappy moments in it now and then, this is actually more fun to watch than James Cameron's 'Titanic', even though it is 25 years older. Very good. |
