This is one of the best films I've ever seen. It ignores the usual format of war movies and goes deep into the psychological effect, not to mention harsh physical punishemnt, of how Vietnam was tragic and wounded the men who had to fight in that war for years to come. Fine performances by Berringer and Dafoe which are probably still their best roles to date. Overall I think this film is amazing and a must see for anyone, especially big war buffs. |
