All kinds of funny mishaps befall a stuffy cynical business man named Neal Page (Steve Martin)while he tries to get home by thanksgiving to his family in Chicago. It all starts when a likable but annoying man, Del Griffith (John Candy) steals his cab. They meet again at the airport but find their flights are canceled due to a snowstorm, so they both wind up trying to get back to Chicago together by any means possible creating all kinds of belly laughs along the way and you will truly appreciate the ending as well. I truly believe this is the best movie that both these wonderful actors had ever done and this movie will stick in your head forever. Truly a timeless classic. God Bless John Candy. This is a must see for anyone who is a fan of these two performers and an excellent addition to any video collection or DVD collection. |
