Sure, you could pick this movie apart at the seams. Matter of fact, don't bother... it falls apart on its own.
But if you're looking for some light-hearted fun or you're in the mood for some ridiculous comedy, this movie is brilliant. I love it when Walter Matthau misquotes Jesus. Great score, too.
