This movie is easily one of my favorites of all time. The rapport and chemistry of these three truly dynamic actors. This film has what most films today lack. . .wit. The fast moving jab and barbs between Stewart and Hepburn; Hepburn and Grant; and of course between Grant and Stewart are masterfully executed. George Cukor's direction is flawless. It tells a story without wasting our time with all the unnecessary extrinsic tactics used to lure our focus away from the fact that a movie has no point. A love story that shows a woman can be loved and learn to love and still mantain herself. A concept still worthy of being told and retold!!!! Human nature at is best and worst all rolled into one. |
