This movie really shows the soft side and acting range of a young Sydney Poitier. He plays a young man who befriends a poor un-educated blind girl, who is miss-treated by her mother and grandfather. He shows her little things to help her become independent and in the end saves her from her abusive family. Wonderful and heartwarming, thoroughly entertaining. |
