An Excellent Drama

When this film was released, it created quite a stir.
This film featured a blind, white woman falling in love with a sensative black man.
The story is well carried out, the script is excellent, and the acting is superb.
While you, the reader, have probably read various synopsi reguarding the film, what you won't read is the experience you will get after viewing this film. You won't experience the same as a veiwer of the 1960's did (back then people were still rather touchy about interacial couples), however you will be touched by the way Gordon treats Darcy as a true friend, and will wonder how Darcy will treat Gordon if she ever finds out he is a black man.
A Patch of Blue offers interesting questions reguarding racial boundaries and offers a unique ending.
An excellent choice of drama, A Patch of Blue will not disapoint the viewer. |
