A delightful traveloge of an Englishwoman's travels to colonial India. She is immediately immersed in the new culture and becomes innundated by its presumed sensuality so much so that she begins to see the country as a haven of sorts. Its a film that grasps the viewer from the start and arouses the senses, its like visiting a foreign land without a passport.Great theatrical acting. Based on the book by Forester.
