Steve Martin stars in this wonderful film about Family and Devotion. You find great acting, by Jason Robards and Rick Moranis.In "Parenthood", a businessman faces challenges when he loses a promotion. He also discovers his wife(Steenbergen) is pregnant again, and He worries about the added stress.
Tom Hulce, plays the flamboyant brother who cares only for making money. He has no steady job; When the father (Robards) tries to set him up with steady work, he goes back to his old ways.The sad scene is at the end,when Robards asks Hulce's son if he wanted to live with him.
Children are the ones who suffer in a dysfunctional relationship. |
