Before Gary Marshall gained acclaim as the Director of the Julia Robert/Richard Gere romance Pretty Woman, he directed this little gem that I think is superior: both movies have plot gaps that you could drive a truck through, but this film is so sweet, you can't help but like it. The chemistry between Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell off screen (A real-life couple) is evident on-screen. Indeed, Goldie Hawn is absolutely adorable, and Kurt Russell is both charming and handsome. This movie is not recognized as a great or good film by critics, but it's one of my all time favorites... I'm certain if you watch it, it'll be one of yours too. |
