We spent the whole movie trying to figure out the plot and the point of the story and found the characters very boring and uninteresting. While the scenery was exciting and beautiful, Meryl Streep was just very boring, her character deserved everything that happened to her. Robert Redford had no business with that phony accent. It took away from what should have been a very manly role for him. Overall, there was no way this movie should have beaten Color Purple for the Best Picture Oscar. |
