The Omega Man is Heston at his finest..... Well aside from the 10 commandments.
Even though the movie REALLY strays away from the book it is based on..."I am Legend" It was still an amazing movie
Much closer to the Vincent Price classic "The Last Man on Earth" ( and another favorite of mine) the Omega Man is about the last survivor of a man made plague. He struggles to stay alive and maitane some semblance of normalcy and sanity.
He goes about his daily routine of exersise, food shopping and movie going. All the while trying to avoid being killed by the semi-vampiric "Family".
I am REALLY looking forward to the release of the new remake of this movie starring Will Smith "I am Legend" |
