This movie ruled! George Romero, the director, developed the characters very well, and the movie was beautifully shot, creating a very dark, foreboding atmosphere, which is in most of Romero's movies. The movie is about 7 people who are trapped in a farmhouse, trying to escape the flesh-eating zombies who have gathered outside. There is a lot of tension between the characters, and the zombies are quite frightening. The movie has a lot of moments that just make you jump, and a highly disturbing murder scene, between a little girl and her mother. The movie is very graphic, in showing the zombies eating human flesh, and has a very downbeat ending, which left me sort of angry, and quite sad. I would recommend this movie to anyone looking for a good fright flick to watch on a rainy night.
