One of the ALL-TIME BEST children's movies ever!!

I cannot say enough about Pippi Longstocking. As a child, this movie always put a HUGE smile on my face. I was never one for fiction or adventure, but this movie is a complete exception. You can't help but enjoy going along for the ride, for the fun and thrill of Pippi's playful, innocent, and profound escapades. This movie came out when I was 5 and I am 21 now. I still have the original video tape, and any time I need a smile, I pop it in to watch. The theme song still plays joyfully in my head. The plot is WONDERFUL! It's very touching. Pippi has a lot of integrity, humor, and love for all people and animals. She sets a great example for imagination, determination, and free-spirit. I rate this movie an A+++++ all the way!!! I can't wait until I have kids so that I can see their reactions, their pure joy as they watch it, and sing along to all the songs, especially "Scrubbing Day", which is a ton of fun! I actually came to this site to check out where the young actors are today!! |
