This movie is as current as great classics are supposed to be. All aspects about TV we see today are the same present in this movie: the media control, the low quality/garbage programs, the rating-oriented culture were already there 27 years ago. In summary the "show anything to increase ratings" culture...
Peter Finch and Faye Dunaway are perfect in their characters as well as William Holden. Duval is a great Bad guy.
The movie is fast, dynamic and well directed.
