For me this is the holiday flick that makes the Yuletide season. I love it for its humor and utter reality. Holidays are not always perfect and when they aren't it can be fairly humorous, if taken in the right vein. This movie didn't win any Oscars, and the script is not the most complex, but I will always hold, The Christmas Vacation, in high regard. Watch it with your family and let the Griswalds put a lighter step in your holiday waltz! |
