Steve Mills (Aykroyd), a recent widowed astrophysicist who had a extraoridnary link to accidentally gave a signal from the aliens as a contact and later sends Celeste (Kim Basinger), a sexy extra terrestial alien with a mission to seduce and marry Steve to save her planet before it's too late. When Steve's daughter (Alysson) sees strang things about her new stepmother, her stepmother is making many foods, drinking batteries, a talking bag with many gadgets in her purse, and can hold burning objects, and others. Steve didn't believe his daughter because he had too much fun having sex, love, science, and a family; he later realizes he married an alien, but Celeste (Basinger) falls in love with Steve when the alien leaders want the Earth destroyed. Celeste tells to the alien leaders that Earth is a safer place that people and everyone can live in and Celeste asks the leader to look at her vision and the leader accepts. Celeste can stay on Earth for the rest of her life. Steve's brother (Lovitz) goes with the alien by a space ship with full of hot ladies and the others went home. Steve's daughter played some basketball with Celeste and Celeste gave a little lift with her magic hand to the daughter by giving her a slam dunk. Celeste went inside their home and slept with her husband, Steve. MY STEPMOTHER IS AN ALIEN is non-stop laugh and fun that i've seen in years. This movie is sexy, funny, and enjoyable in your DVD collection as a classic section. Kim Basinger is superb for what she does best in all of her movies, she is a true OSCAR winner that proves to be the best actress. Kim Basinger is a heart felt actress that shows beauty & talent. This is definitely a must see DVD of the year even though it's a classic 1988 film. |
