Andy Griffith and Johnny Cash star in this real life movie about corruption in a Georgia county in 1948. Andy Griffith plays a land baron who controls Merriweather County, but when he chases and then kills one of his farm hands in Coweta County, he becomes Johnny Cash's problem. This is not a bad movie for a made for TV movie. You get a pretty good taste of life in the South during the 1940's. I do recommend this movie. |
