How a story can be at the same time scary, touching, bitter, sad and funny... Brilliant acting, specially by Alec Baldwin... An all-time favorite. I agree, a better production would have made it more successful, but anyway I like it the way it is. Also, I take my hat off before George Armitage's adaptation... The original book was darker and more cynical, not touching as the movie is. Even my mother cried at the end... I fell in love with Junior Frenger. |
