One of the Sweetest Musicals of All Time

I've always loved musicals and Judy Garland. It's so great when you put the two together. There are so many good songs in this movie and one of which is now a Christmas carol that everyone knows, even if they've never seen this film. Meet Me in St. Louis is so sweet and endearing that it instantly captures your interests. There are a few faults to the movie such as the annoying little children and the pointless Halloween part (I've never heard of children throwing flour on Halloween, maybe I'm too young?) but the rest of the film is MGM magic at it's best. |
