The Magnificent Seven is a must have for anyone who loves the Western genre.
Yul Brynner is perfectly cast as the cold and efficient hired gun. McQueen, Coburn and Vaughan are equally convincing as gunmen. The rest of the cast, particularly Eli Wallach is also excellent. Although the score for this film is justifiably memorable, the movie overall was very underrated come Oscar time.
All in all, this is one you will watch often and never get bored. |
