This is probably the best film ever made. Peter O Toole gives an amazingly intense, sometimes so intense it is scary, performance as Lawrence. Lean did an amzing job at getting on location to get this film and just the hell they had to go throgh to get this film made is amazing enoug. The film includes the best cinemotography ever on film along with a great score. The nearly 4 hour screentime doesn't seem ong enough to fit in this larger than life film. All of the performances were amazing and the mirage sequence is brilliant. Just keep your eyes on Peter O Toole to see possibly the greatest performance ever. This is a must see for any true film fan and the new dvd that is out really brings a great light onto the making of the film. Very fascinating stuff from a genious movie. |
