This 1954 soaper gives you everything we've come to expect from Hollywood melodramas of the day.
A colorful and flavorable account of post world war II Paris.
The story is corny and the scenery to lush to be fully believable but Liz is gorgeous (although a less than acceptable actress) and Walter Pidgeon and Donna Reed solid as rocks in small but rewarding roles.
No classic but passable Hollywood gloss. |
