As an enlightened prophet,Jesus and his followers were constantly at odds with the authorities as seen in the epic tale of Jesus and his last days on earth. The film gives an added glimpse into Jesus' humanity and his spritiual struggles.The movie is faithful to the Biblical story until the very end when Christ hallucinates on the cross about how his life would have been had he been married with children of his own.A different take on what the traditioanl good book says.Similar--"Jesus Christ,Superstar" |
