This is a classic movie that has been trash-talked about people who have no idea what sort of mental anguish Jesus Christ must have gone through. Granted the last temptation sequence in the end is a bit provocative and long, but isn't that the title? As a work of art, it is masterful, but like most films it is not meant to be taken literally. Does anyone take Amadeus, Ali, or JFK literally? If you do you must be watching to many DOCUMENTARIES. |
