Jesus was a man--nonethless, but He was NO ordinary man. The Bible never said He wasn't tempted, but the difference between Him and the average man is the fact that He did not indulge in those temptations. If we lived in a perfect, sinless world, there would be no need for salvation, so that "is" the point of Him being sent here by God. It took a sinless human being to free us from the hell that all sin ultimately leads to...without His redeeming blood. Any movie that depicts the opposite of this--no matter the intention and no matter the "attention" is not of God--regardless of the giving you a "fictional" depiction of Jesus' life. If you had such an awesome reputation as this, would you not want anything but the truth told if someone wanted to film YOUR story? Keep it real, people... |
